Galena
specimen number:
2051611
location:
Picher Field, Tri-State District, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma, USA
description:
Incredibly lustrous and bright sharp cubic crystals to 2.3 cm on edge over the front of a 14.0 x 8.0 x 3.5 cm chert matrix. There is some chipping present, but I still think this one in very good condition. I cannot say enough about the luster of the crystals, for this mining district where most are dull semi-lustrous, this one is exceptional. Very pretty as well. Shipping weight: 1.55 pounds. Ex Phil Martin collection.
Size: 14.0 x 8.0 x 3.5 cm (cabinet)
Collection: Phil Martin
