description: Translucent to transparent lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite to 1.0 cm in size throughout this matrix with brown crystallized siderite and sparkling colorless quartz. Micro-chipping is present, this still in very good condition as seen. The fluorite crystals are vividly fluorescent. Previous label from the US National Museum in Washington DC. Prior to that, from the collection of Isaac Lea, who lived from 1792 to 1886. This is a very old specimen.
