description:
Very fine combination piece from the Colorado pegmatite. Blocky blue crystals of amazonite to 3.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix with a translucent crystal of smoky quartz 5.0 cm in length. A grouping of near colorless gemmy fluorite crystals are present upon the smoky quartz crystal. This is in great condition, this has been repaired in one place not atypical of specimens from this area. The repair is almost invisible.
