Fluorite with Calcite
specimen number:
3571046
location:
Cave in Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description:
A gorgeous museum size specimen showing mostly transparent yellowish amber to light purple cubic crystals of fluorite, the largest almost 10.0 cm on edge. These over the top of a massive fluorite matrix. Small crystals of white calcite are scattered throughout. Extremely minimal and sparse micro-chipping present, overall I think this in great condition.
Size: 26.0 x 22.0 x 12.0 cm (large-cabinet)
