Fine classic from Indiana pale yellow glassy gem cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 1.8 cm on edge set up on a limestone matrix. This is in excellent condition this would have been collected in the early 1970s.

The May Stone and Sand Quarry in Allen County, Indiana, originally began operations as a gravel pit in 1862 and transitioned into a major limestone quarry that remains active today under corporate ownership. Geologically, the site extracts aggregate from deep Paleozoic carbonate bedrock formations, and it has become locally famous among mineral collectors for producing exceptional specimens of transparent, honey-colored to yellow cubic fluorite crystals often nestled on a light grey limestone matrix.
