Fluorite
specimen number:
2051059
location:
Denton Mine, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description: An exceptional gorgeous classic southern Illinois specimen showing deep intense blue, with internal purple color zoning, cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 5.0 cm on edge over the front of an 11.0 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm fluorite matrix. Very minimal micro-chipping present, not atypical of these, overall I think this in very good condition. The intense color and transparency, coupled with great luster, make this a superb and showy piece. Ex Phil Martin collection.
Size: 11.0 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm (cabinet)
