Fluorite
specimen number:
1507034
location:
Boltry quarry, Seilles, Andenne, Namur, Belgium
description:
During the 1990s an area in this active limestone quarry was intersected with very unusual and interesting crystallized examples of fluorite. This current example is quite neat and attractive showing gemmy green crystallized fluorite set on top of rosy purple slightly translucent crystallized fluorite. This is complete all-around and naturally crystallized, I can find one cleavage face on the area of purple fluorite where it meets the green coloration. Measures 10.0 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm in size. Very unique and attractive. Shipping weight: 1.26 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
Size: 10.0 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm (cabinet)
