description: And unusual and extremely attractive large thick tourmaline specimen consisting of a single loose terminated crystal 9.5 x 4.5 x 3.0 cm in size. Very unusual is the top is sort of hollowed out, this all natural and undamaged. The majority of the crystal is deep green in color, the termination beautifully highlighted with purplish red colors. Complete all-around and in excellent condition. Previous label from the noted collection of F. John Barlow. Weighs 265 g. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
