Lustrous translucent emerald green crystals of dioptase measuring to 0.8 cm in size across the front of this calcite rich matrix. The only real chipping is present along the lower edge of the matrix as seen in the video and picture, this still in very good condition. From the type locality for the species first described in the very early 1800s.
