An outstanding example for the species. An aesthetically arranged grouping of botryoidal crystallized cryptomelane. This material was analyzed at Michigan Tech. Crystallized completely all around and in terrific condition. The specimen was figured in the mineral magazine The Mineralogical Record, May, June, 2020, page 446, figure 74. I think an important example for the species. This locality closed in 1962.
