A wonderful example for the species from this German locality with bright orange red crystals to 1.2 cm in length scattered over the front side of a 10.5 x 8.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. In very good condition as seen with several crystals freestanding, which is slightly unusual for the locality. This locality consisted of several open cuts mind for nickel between 1952 in 1990. The localities justly famous amongst mineral collectors for the unexpected occurrence of crocoite discovered here in 1977. Good examples are not often seen available on the market today.
