Copper-after-Aragonite

specimen number:
4171396

location:
Corocoro, La Paz, Bolivia

description:
A matrix less cluster of what at one time were twinned pseudo-hexagonal crystals of aragonite, these now replaced by native copper. The specimen is crystallized completely all around with no points of attachment and in great condition. Quite nice for this Bolivian classic.
