Brilliant blue sparkling micro crystals of clinoclase covering an area approximately 3.0 x 2.0 cm in size on matrix. In good condition. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark and was collected by Craig Stollburg.

The Majuba Hill Mine in Pershing County, Nevada, was discovered in 1907 with initial production beginning around 1914, and though historical underground mining operations have long ceased, the site remains an active subject of modern mineral exploration. Geologically, the deposit is a complex porphyry system hosted primarily within Tertiary rhyolite, featuring an extensive network of mineralized stockworks, breccia pipes, and fault zones that contain diverse assemblages of copper, tin, silver, and molybdenum associated with intense hydrothermal alteration like tourmalinization and sericitization.
