Chalcopyrite with Siderite
specimen number:
4521047
location:
North Pool mine, Cambourne, Cornwall, England, UK
description:
Brassy crystals of chalcopyrite to 0.5 cm in size across the top of this crystallized siderite matrix. In great condition. Some of the previous labels give the locality as the East Caradon mine. Later labels, I assume with research, attribute the specimen to the North Pool mine.
