Cerussite with Galena
specimen number:
1192087
location:
Bunker Hill mine, Shoshone Co., Idaho USA
description:
An unusual and really good cabinet piece for the species from this famous locality. The specimen consists of a near matrix less cluster of bladed cerussite crystals measuring as large as 5.0 cm in size. These are mostly black in color due to inclusions of galena. There are no real points of attachment, and despite some minor micro-chipping, I think this is really good condition. Collected in the 1990s.
Size: 15.0 x 9.5 x 5.0 cm (large-cabinet)
