Celestine with Sulfur

specimen number:
4491028

location:
Cozzodisi mine, Sicily, Italy

description:
Classic Sicilian specimen with needlelike sparkling crystals of celestine measuring to almost 1.0 cm in length very thick across the top of a crystallized native sulfur matrix. Micro-chipping present which is typical with such small needlelike crystals like this, I think the piece is still in very good condition.
