description:
Glassy translucent blue crystallized Celestine and a large cluster with white crystallized strontianite. In good condition. Neat locality example collected in the late 1980s. A previous note with the specimen mentions that this was collected during construction of a major highway interchange. The specimen is apparently in the process of being reabsorbed or altering to strontianite. The site is now permanently buried under concrete, steel, and grass.
