description: Wonderful glassy large crystal of cassiterite 4.7 cm across standing up from matrix with numerous smaller crystals. There is very slight chipping to some of the lesser crystals along the lower left edge of the matrix, the large prominent crystalline very fine condition. The crystals show slight translucency. The piece sits perfectly by itself or display and is in excellent example for the species.
