The Qinglong Mine in Dachang, Guizhou Province, China, is a celebrated mineral locality renowned for producing exceptional crystal specimens including fluorite and creedite. It has recently gained attention among collectors for yielding remarkable specimens of carlhintzeite, an extremely rare halide mineral. While originally discovered elsewhere as colorless crystals, the material found at this Chinese deposit frequently occurs in striking, vibrant yellow crystal clusters associated with other uncommon secondary minerals.
