Classic specimen for this mining district consisting of scalenohedral calcite crystals to over 4.5 cm in height set on a matrix of lustrous black sphalerite crystals. The calcite crystals are partially coated with white crystalline gypsum and blue ktenasite. In terrific condition and sits perfectly by itself for display. Measures 5.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm. At one time the specimen was part of the collection at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. From there it went to the collection of Jim DuFoe with his data card. Very fine classic miniature. Shipping weight: 0.23 pounds.
