Calcite with Chalcopyrite, Dolomite
specimen number:
4971136
location:
J-19 West Orebody, Sweetwater mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description:
Glassy golden almost gem scalenohedral crystals of calcite coming off a breccia matrix with chalcopyrite and dolomite. The smaller crystal at lower right is cleaved on the backside as seen in the video, to me this is not a big deal. The prominent crystal is in super condition all around. Excellent color, luster, and size. The specimen comes with a custom acrylic display base.
