description: A wonderful example of what many call cave pearls or a birds nest. Basically caused from dripping calcium carbonate rich fluid onto rock living loose calcium carbonate rich pebbles. Some of this calcium carbonate adheres to the matrix, other form loose pebbles which is set on the matrix. An old time piece with an antique label written on the back I believe dating the piece to April 1, 1911.
