Calcite
specimen number:
2013352
location:
Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description:
A very unusual and attractive grouping of calcite crystals in parallel growth. The crystals are slightly yellowish and show good translucency and luster. This is in good condition with no real points of attachment. Collected in very early December 1990, I remember this pocket as it is very distinctive. These came and went one time, there were never any others found after the initial discovery.
Size: 9.0 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Harris Precht
