Beryl
specimen number:
4901112
location:
Mt Antero, Chaffee Co., Colorado, USA
description:
A gemmy light blue prismatic crystal of beryl 3.0 cm in length embedded on a white feldspar matrix with several lesser crystals. This does not exhibit any terminations really, but still a large crystal for the species from this locality. Previous data card gives the locality as the Pike's Peak region, but I would highly doubt that.
Size: 7.0 x 5.0 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: James Kaste
