White benstonite epitaxially covering previous rhombohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 1.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix. Fluorite is present on the bottom of the piece. In good condition and quite choice for this rare barium carbonate. This comes with a previous data card dating the piece to 1971.
