specimen number:
8681058
location:
Milpillas mine, Sonora, Mexico
description:
Glassy transparent bladed crystals of barite measuring to 2.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix with blocky crystals of what were once azurite now replaced by green velvety crystallized malachite. Damage to the barite crystals is present as seen. Still a nice example for the species from this locality.
