Barite with Fluorite, Dolomite
specimen number:
8642034
location:
Erika Mine, Saulnhof, Stulln, Schwandorf, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany
description:
A grouping of bladed barite crystals 5.0 cm in size perched nicely at the top of a grouping of yellow green fluorite crystals. Small crystals of dolomite are sprinkled throughout. Slight micro-chipping present, this mainly confined to the barite crystal grouping, I think this in good condition. This is crystallized naturally all around. The fluorite crystals are vividly fluorescent violet in color.
