Bladed white crystals of barite averaging 0.5 cm in size are covering this the top of this matrix with small colorless balls of crystallized calcite. This is in terrific condition. This does exhibits florescence. At one time the specimen was part of the collection of John Brottlund who worked at this mine and was responsible for a large number of specimens that were recovered. The specimen was figured in The Mineralogical Record, May, June, 2020, page 426, figure 21. This piece was on public display at the Cincinnati, 1993, Denver, 1997, and East Coast, 2018 shows.
