Barite
specimen number:
8811257
location:
Luambo area, Kambove, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo
description:
Wonderful locality example for the species with large bladed crystals of barite coming off a thin matrix. Micro-chipping present but very sparse, I feel that the specimen is in great condition. This is crystallized naturally all around.
Size: 6.5 x 5.0 x 4.5 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Bill and Diana Dameron
