description: Classic British specimen with pale blue to reddish crystals of translucent lustrous barite measuring to 5.0 cm in height coming off a matrix with crystallized dolomite. Typical of these old specimens, especially for one this large, there is some cleaving present. All of the prominent crystals are in good condition.
