Barite
specimen number:
7991911
location:
Frizington, Cumbria, England, UK
description:
Classic British specimen with lustrous light blue to red slightly translucent crystals of barite measuring to 4.5 cm in size on a deep red sparkling dolomite crystal matrix. The only cleaving present is on the bottom of the piece to a crystal near the base of the matrix, this shown in the video. I think in really good condition. The specimen comes with an antique label as shown at the end of the video.
