Barite
specimen number:
3774169
location:
3475 drift, 1075 ft level, Meikle mine, Elko Co., Nevada, USA
description:
Glassy and gem tabular crystals of barite to 0.9 cm on edge set beautifully on matrix. The specimen is in very good condition. Previous label refers to this is a twinned crystal. Personally I just think that they are intergrown crystals.
