description: Very pretty specimen showing incredibly lustrous and beautiful blue bladed crystals of azurite to 1.5 cm in size over the top of this matrix. The back of the matrix is covered with radiating chatoyant green crystallized malachite. In in good condition with only minimal chipping along one edge. The malachite is pretty and can be seen in the video provided. Previous label from the US National Museum Division of Mineralogy.
