Arsenopyrite with Siderite
specimen number:
4271253
location:
Panasqueira Mines, Beira Baixa, Portugal
description:
A superb plate of bright lustrous metallic crystallized arsenopyrite. The crystals average 1.5 to 2.0 cm in size, the piece accented nicely with platy crystals of siderite. This is crystallized naturally all around and in very good condition with just slight tiny minimal micro-chipping present. Very good example for the species from this famous locality.
