Aragonite
specimen number:
3151358
location:
Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
description: One of the finest examples known for the species from this locality, extremely aesthetic and beautiful tapering gemmy glassy crystals of aragonite to 2.3 cm in length coming off a thin matrix. This is in exceptionally good condition, especially considering the nature of the specimen. Previously in the collections of Mike New, then later in son Jason New's collection. The quality is outstanding.
