Analcime with Serandite
specimen number:
4931056
location:
Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada
description:
Aesthetic combination piece with a sharp semi lustrous slightly translucent crystal of analcime 2.0 cm in diameter set on a grouping of light pinkish serandite crystals. This is in good condition all around. It is possible that the serandite is actually the mineral schizolite, I have not had this specimen analyzed.
